Vineyard
- The vineyard is located below Chambertin, next to Griotte-Chambertin
- Soil in the vineyard is outcroppings of limestone with thin topsoil; rocky soil with some marl

Vinification
- Maceration and Vinification take 2 to 3 weeks
- To be seeking total control of the process of extraction
- extraction gives colour and substance but should never be detrimental to the finesse and typical character of the wine

Ageing
- To be about 14 to 18 months.
- The origin of the wood is from French oak forests.
- All are in barrels (20% in new oak).

Serving
Temperature: 16°C (61-62°F).
Cellaring: 5 to 20 years.
